Other green-colored animals
There was recently a reported case of ‘green colored polar bears’, from a few years back. Nobody knew exactly what was happening and why polar bears, of all random animals, were going green. Could this be because of global warming or some other new crisis the world is facing? Scientists did more digging to get answers.
After safely capturing one of the bears, it turns out that it was just a bad case of green pigmentation due to Biliverdin exposure, but something different. In fact, it was algae that had begun to grow on the bear’s fur and inside their hollow hairs. Wow, just when you think you’ve heard and seen it all.
