All At Once
The idea of implanting all of Nadya’s fertilized eggs at the same time caused Dr. Kamrava to have some reservations. It went against all good practices and even challenged some ethical codes, but Nadya was adamant, and in the end, Kamrava decided to comply with her demands. Nadya’s insistence was the driving force behind Kamrava’s decision. Nadya was well aware of the potential consequences.
However, Kamrava did not end his actions there. Instead of injecting only the six fertilized eggs that were already left over from previous treatments, he went ahead and implanted a total of 12 eggs, which is 10 more than the maximum number of eggs that is recommended to be used. Because Nadya wanted to make absolutely certain that she would become pregnant, Kamrava went against all of her better instincts and complied with her request.
