#4: California Dreams
California Dreams (1992-1997) was one of those early 90s teen sitcoms dealing with a group of friends. Sounds like a typical sitcom, right? This time, it was a band trying to juggle their dreams of rock stardom with normal high school problems.
It was often compared to Saved by the Bell and had a rather devout fan base throughout its five seasons. However, like so many other teen shows from the era, California Dreams hasn’t retained quite the same glow of nostalgia it once had, but it’s particularly representative of early 90s Saturday morning TV aimed at young adults.
