30 Unforgettable Cartoon Voices and the Hidden Faces Behind Them

February 5, 2025 by Talia Ben Itzhak

#24: Bob Bergen – Tweety and Porky Pig

Since 1990, Bob Bergen has voiced two of the oldest and most beloved characters in the history of Looney Tunes: Tweety and Porky Pig. Bergen is still at it today, and his high-pitched, squeaky voice maintains the cute and playful essence of Tweety, and he still manages to maintain the iconic stutter of Porky Pig.

Bergen has based his performances on the voices of Mel Blanc, the original Looney Tunes voice actor. As long as Bergen is active in the field of animation, the legacy of Tweety and Porky Pig remains safe. His voice can also be found in a multitude of other television shows and movies, including Star Wars and many Disney films.
