We know that movie productions are usually robust and expensive, but there is even more to them than meets the eye. Filmmakers think of the smallest details that we aren’t always aware of, and there are a lot of behind-the-scenes facts and nuances for viewers to discover. Today, we’re taking a look at some little-known movie trivia shared by astute fans.
#1: Wayne’s World (1992)
There’s a particular scene in Wayne’s World (1992) that made no sense to fans watching the film for the first time. When Wayne plays Stairway to Heaven at the guitar store and clerk points to a sign that says “No Stairway to Heaven,” the audience is led to believe the clerks banned the song because they were tired of hearing it.
However, the song was actually supposed to be featured in the movie until Led Zeppelin’s PR people did not approve production to use the song. That’s what Wayne means when he says, “No stairway, denied,” and that’s how the iconic line came to be.
