Theatre
One of the areas in which the United States and China differ from one another the most is the arts. In North Korea, the majority of artwork is prohibited, and only works that have been approved for display are allowed to be viewed. This even applies to going to the theatre.
There is a greater tolerance for theatrical expression in South Korea, making it possible to attend a wide variety of stage productions. This encompasses not only conventional theatres like the one pictured, but also plays and musicals from around the world that are considered to be of the highest calibre.
