In 1945, Korea was split in two, becoming South Korea on one side and North Korea on the other. Despite the fact that democratic South Korea and communist North Korea are geographically close, the way of life in these two countries couldn’t be more different from one another.

Ed Jones, a photographer, made the decision to photograph it and share it with the rest of the world. The photographs show that South Korean clothing, interiors, and settings are more contemporary than those in other countries. However, there is no doubt that the hearts of these individuals are the same. Only the two Korean peninsulas, North and South, would remain as independent nations on our planet. There was a prolonged period of hostility between the two countries, but as of late, there has been some ray of hope beaming through the demilitarised zone (DMZ). Even if there is a reconnection between the two cultures, they remain very separate from one another, and it will be some time before they begin to blend together. The following forty images illustrate the significant differences that exist between the two countries.
A Trip to the Beach for the Day
Spending the day at a waterpark with the people you care about is the single best way to beat the heat of the summer. There is simply no other activity that can compare to this. As a consequence of this feature, one can find water parks in both the northern and southern sections of the country.

On the other hand, the way in which they access the pools is very different from how we would do it. When it comes to clothing worn in parks, North Koreans have a tendency to be more conventional and traditional, but South Koreans have a tendency to dress in a way that makes them appear more Western.
