Newspapers
Newspapers have historically been the medium of choice for communist governments to use when trying to disseminate information that they want their citizens to be aware of. Reading a newspaper published in North Korea is not the same as reading a newspaper published in South Korea for a variety of reasons, including the fact that this is just one of those reasons.
As a result of the fact that the state in North Korea maintains control over all forms of media, the information that is broadcast is likely to be biassed and frequently advances the cause of North Korean nationalism. This is due to the fact that the state maintains control over all different types of media.
