If the Shoe Fits?
Let’s talk about the classic of all classics, Cinderella. Being one of the most famous fairytales to come out of the Disney empire, it is no secret that the world loves the story. And it doesn’t hurt that the film revolves around shoes. You all know how the story goes, Cinderella gets taken by pumpkin carriage to the grand ball where she dances with the prince in glass slippers, but before the clock strikes 12 she rushes off in a hurry, and one of her glass slippers is left behind.
What we want to know is, how did the glass slipper fall off if it fit in the first place? Are we missing something? Is her foot also meant to shrink when the clock strikes 12? Someone, please, help us out here. As per usual, we have a Twitter user to thank for this existential crisis that is now beholden to us. We think Disney needs to investigate this further because we demand answers.
