Office Antics That Prove Humor Is Alive and Well

Earthquakes are a regular occurrence on the west coast, so this workplace is most likely there. They have a piece of paper with the words “Earthquake Detection Kit,” with a pair of googly eyes hidden beneath it as a joke. If there’s an earthquake, the pupils in those eyes will shift.

It’s a harmless joke and a lot of fun, too. Of course, we hope that the office has a genuine earthquake kit on hand if “The Big One” strikes. You know, the one that seismologists have been warning about for decades. It’s only a matter of time before it happens. If The Big One strikes, we expect Google’s eyes to fall off quickly.
