Three In One God
This is very much like the trinity that we know, except that each arm of the Hindu trinity has a specific role. In Hinduism which is the main religion of India, Brahma is the Creator, founder, and cause of all existence, Vishnu is the Preserver while Shiva is the Destroyer.
That does not mean that Hindus have three or more gods. They do have and worship only one God — The Trinity, like many Christians, just that they worship Him a bit differently from us. India has many different communities and each community has its deities or gods that they use to approach Him.
