An Extraordinary Family
Maybe you’ve heard stories of people having as many as 50 kids and a dozen wives, from around the world, but we guess you’ve never heard of the late Indian polygamist Ziona Chana from the village of Baktawng, who is survived by 39 wives, 94 kids, 14 daughters-in-law, and 33 grandchildren.
We wonder how he took care of a family so big, possibly the biggest in the world by the time he died on June 13, 2021, or if it remained intact after that. How did everyone get along given that tension is often common among family members in such arrangements?
