Genius By The Lake
Albert Einstein’s own life was a case study in relativity theory. Because of the self-denial that occurs when you become a parent, he was known for his wild hair (he had no time to visit the barber). Einstein’s favorite pastimes included sailing, playing the violin and piano, and savoring the taste of all things decadent.
Even though we’re used to seeing him in front of a chalkboard, this photograph shows him enjoying one of his favorite hobbies in an everyday setting. It turns out that Einstein was as eccentric as his biographers claim. What is one of his most well-known characteristics? Socks were a thing of the past for him, and he preferred sandals and fuzzy slippers instead.
