#33: Schwinn for the Win
This guy got out his grandpa’s 1971 Schwinn Racer and detailed it out. Isn’t it lovely? I have no idea what it looked like after sitting in storage, but it’s back to being roadworthy now, even at 51 years old. I’m not surprised. Schwinns are excellent bikes and are built to last.
This model was produced from 1957 to 1971, and if you run into one with an all-original paint job in pristine condition, you should snatch it up! These things can be worth a pretty penny if they’re well taken care of, as vintage Schwinns are highly coveted. Just be sure you aren’t purchasing one that’s been restored for a hefty price! Get it appraised first!
