Helena Christensen Then
Danish supermodel Helene Christensen’s origin story starts with her winning Miss Universe in 1986. Not long after, she was featured in the music video for Chris Isaak’s Wicked Game, which ranked fourth on VH1’s list of Sexiest Video of All Time. After that, she became a spokesmodel for Revlon and appeared on dozens of magazine covers.
Helena would take part in several catalogs and TV commercials for Victoria’s Secret in the early 1990s. In 1996, she, along with seven other supermodels of the era, was included in a New York Times’ issue that called them “The Magnificent Seven.”
