Brooke Shields Now
After graduating, Brooke shifted her focus from modeling to acting. She landed her first acting gig in 1980 on The Muppet Show, where she was the youngest star to ever be featured. In 1993, she lent her voice to The Simpsons, where she’d voice herself in the fourth season.
After that, she gave theater acting a try, with her first role being Rizzo in the 1994 revival of Grease. It seemed like anything the royal model-turned-actress touched would instantly turn to gold. However, she revealed in 2005 that she was suffering from postpartum depression and had suicidal thoughts. However, she eventually defeated her demons and jumped right back into the limelight. She played a minor role in the Mexican comedy film My Boyfriend’s Meds.
