#6: Casablanca (1942)
Obviously, Casablanca was going to be on this list. One of the most beloved and talked-about films of all time, the 1942 wartime romance remains one of the greats. Starring the illustrious Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, this movie has become so universal that references to it continue to be made in pop culture decades later.

Essentially, Bogart’s Rick Blaine must decide whether to honor his country or his heart more. If you haven’t watched it, any other plot points would give the good parts away. All we have to say is, “Here’s lookin’ at you, kid.”
