Glorious Greetings
If we’ve learned one thing so far, many nations seem to dislike our cultural way of life. It’s not fair! Saying “How’s it going?” is a classic American greeting, like “have a nice day” or “God bless,” but less religious and more casual than that. It’s a way to greet someone without causing offense.
It’s like a verbal pat on the back or a “hey, I see you, and I acknowledge your existence.” It’s just something we do, like adding “bless you” after someone sneezes. It’s also a way for Americans to be polite and try to connect with others casually. I don’t see why anyone could hate that!
