#48: Roadhouse Grill
Roadhouse Grill was founded on the East Coast in 1992. The chain was a group of casual dining steakhouses, and it stayed in business until 2007, when its parent company filed for bankruptcy. A few months later, in 2008, Roadhouse Grill was forced to liquidate and shut down all of its twenty locations.
Three former employees of a Roadhouse Grill in Tonawanda restarted the chain, but they renamed it Buffalo Roadhouse Grill, serving somewhat similar menu items (Buffalo wings, beef on weck, etc.). International, independent venues also share the same name and menu items in Bulgaria, Brazil, and Italy.
