#19: The Disappearance of Kirsa Jensen
There are certain places in the world where strange things never happen. So when something weird occurs in this type of context, it has the potential to rattle a few people. Whilst some areas of the world are prone to weird things, New Zealand isn’t one of those places. On September 1st, 1983, Kirsa Jensen went for a ride on her horse and was never seen again. Whilst authorities were able to locate her horse, they weren’t able to locate her.
The last time people saw her, she was in a weird state, next to the Tutaekiuri River, with a bloodied face. When questioned by these witnesses, she said she had fallen from her horse and that her parents were on their way to come get her. However, some people claim to have seen her talk to a man in a white van before she disappeared. This case is still open after John Russel had confessed to murdering Jensen but later retracted his statement before taking his own life.
