#42: The Toxic Woman
Sometimes in life, certain things happen that are unexplainable. Whether it be medically related or even a supernatural occurrence, we don’t always have ways of explaining things that occur. And in February 1994, California resident Gloria Ramirez was admitted to the hospital after experiencing bad side effects from having late-stage cervical cancer. When she arrived, medical staff described her as being very confused and having some sort of natural oily substance all over her body and some sort of fruity/garlic-related smell coming from her mouth.
The medical staff responsible for Miss Ramirez were doing everything they could to try and understand the situation. After sedating didn’t help, they began drawing blood, but what they found shocked them. One nurse noticed manila-colored specks floating in her blood, while another noticed an ammonia-like smell from the tube. At this point, many medical professionals began fainting, one after the other. Over 23 medical professionals became sick after the interaction, and 5 were hospitalized. Many medical professionals blame this occurrence on nothing more than mass hysteria, but the people that were there don’t agree. Gloria Ramirez died shortly after the event that took place.
