People usually get nostalgic for their childhoods as they age. If any of you kids are reading this, take heed. Enjoy your youth while it lasts! Many Gen X parents try to tell their kids how good they really have it by reminiscing about the good old days of when they themselves were kids. 

Most Gen X kids grew up with a certain level of freedom that would make today’s parents pass out with fear. According to this Gen Xer, their parents didn’t know where they were between 1983 and 1988!
