#18: John Adams
Having served as the vice president under George Washington, it is safe to assume that the second president of the United States, John Adams had what it took to lead the nation from 1797-1801. He was coined a pivotal political philosopher by many who claim he was better suited as a philosopher than as a politician…
It was said that John Adams was the kind of guy to start his day off with a heap of hard cider for breakfast. This might sound like a crazy thing for someone to do, but hey, he just needed a bit of help waking up in the morning, and this was his way of doing it. He did have a party in Philadelphia for the 4th of July one year where everyone drank wine laced with rum… Pretty much, John Adams invented jungle juice.
