Symbols Don’t Pay the Bills
We hate it when companies try to be clever and come up with unique gifts for their employees. Nobody cares about your wooden snowflakes. What are we supposed to do with them, other than tossing them in the fireplace as kindling the moment we get back home? Again, we get the feeling that the employer bought the most random object on Alibaba as gifts.
Indeed, wood symbolizes strength and longevity, unless it gets soaked in water. And if that’s the case, wooden snowflakes as thin as these would serve absolutely no purpose at all. Nice try, management, but we hate you. Your employees hate you. The entire internet hates you.
