#2: Thomas Jefferson
Perhaps one of the better-known presidents of the United States, Thomas Jefferson was the third president of the great nation from 1801-1809. An American Founding Father, and one of the authors of the Declaration of Independence, Jefferson played a key role in shaping the autonomy of the United States of America.
Jefferson was a very hands-on president, and seeing as the country was newly autonomous, he created many things to build and strengthen its character. With an astonishing IQ of 168, Thomas Jefferson abolished the slave trade, organized the Louisiana purchase as well as founded the University of Virginia.
