#27: Franklin Pierce
When it comes to American history, many things could have been done differently. But one thing is for sure, we have no idea how anyone would have been able to lead the country during such a tumultuous and intense time. However, the 14th president of the United States, Franklin Pierce, somehow managed to do so.
He wasn’t everyone’s favorite, but considering he was the president on the brink of the Civil War, he had a lot of things to deal with. Having graduated from Bowdoin College with an IQ of 134.8, where he lacked in social compassion, made up for in intelligence.
