#42: Special Skills
The biggest perk of technology, in my opinion, is that handwriting is becoming obsolete. As more and more schools move to a paperless system, teachers can at least see the letters, even if they’re misspelled, misused, and don’t add up to much. Still, some things have to be done by hand no matter what, and a teacher has to do their best to decipher it.
Let’s be honest. Kids forget their names on their work pretty often, too. A teacher has two choices. Set it aside or figure out who wrote it. Either option works, but the new teachers will do their best to narrow it down to a handful of students so they can remind them to add their names next time. Veteran teachers? They’re over it. No name, no grade!
