Vinegar
Vinegar, for example, has the ability to maintain its integrity. It can be kept on your computer for an indefinite period of time. Vinegar should be stored in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight to maintain its quality. The best location is in a pantry or kitchen cabinet, but any area will do.
The only exception to this rule is pure vinegar, which is used in cooking. Some sauces, such as vinaigrettes with herbs, garlic, or onion, may need to be refrigerated, however this is not always the case. Keep in mind that the Vinegar Institute has conducted a study indicating that vinegar has an extremely long shelf life (up to five years).
