Citrus Fruits
Citrus fruits, like many other fruits, don’t need to be refrigerated. Isn’t it evident that they ripen best during the hottest months of the year? Maintaining the fruit’s moisture level is the key to maturity. This Fruit dries out in the refrigerator because of the low humidity and low temperature.
However, that only allows you a week or so to finish them before they go bad. You can extend the shelf life of your citrus by keeping them in the refrigerator if you think it will take you longer to use them all, but we cannot guarantee their taste after that.
