Stone Fruit
Room temperature is perfect for maturing stone fruits such as peaches, apricots, nectarines, and plums. As a result, unless you’re planning to consume them directly away, you should avoid putting them in the refrigerator. In any case, leave them to fully mature at room temperature first before utilising. Be informed about you have to do with them.
Refrigerated stone fruits could suffer from cold damage if they are left to mature. As soon as the temperature dips below 50 degrees, the ripening process comes to an end totally. The end result is a mushy fruit with no flavour. So it’s better we eat it fresh and keep it out of the refrigeration machine.
