Whiskey
Refrigeration is not recommended for the storage of whisky, as it is for vodka and champagne. Cooling a whiskey glass before pouring the drink is a popular method of chilling the cocktail. In bars, it is usual practice to keep whiskey bottles at the optimal serving temperature, to keep it’s taste the best.
It is also recommended to store whiskey upright while not in use, which is another typical whiskey storage tip. When stored upright, distilled liquor retains more of its flavour and aroma than when put on its side, as is the case with wine and champagne bottles. So better not to refrigerate them.
